TPP (Travel Protection) Pricing & Policy

Includes pricing structure for ALGV Travel Protection plans - Full Travel Credit, Cash Back, and During Travel Protection.

Validity for all Travel Protection Plans (except During Travel)

• AV/FJ/TI Validity

  • Valid for all vacation packages and destinations - exceptions below.
    • Not valid for Scheduled Air Flight + Car or Scheduled Air - Air Only vacations.
    • Do not book even if the option is available in Rez Agent Features.
    • Note: Scheduled Air - Air Only vacations can only be booked by TA's in VAX.
  • TPP can be added for ENVF Flight Only.
  • Travel Protection is non-refundable and non-transferable. However, an exception can be made to cancel with a full refund within 24-hrs provided it is paid for and no other penalties are incurred.
  • Non US residents may NOT purchase.
  • US residents departing from Canada may purchase.
  • No travel protection is needed for infants unless they have a purchased seat.

• BST Validity

  • Valid for all vacation packages and destinations - exceptions below.
    • Not valid on Scheduled Air Flight + Car vacations.

• UV Validity

• Policy to Add to Existing Consumer Bookings

  Deposit Reservations
  • Add within 7 days of the deposit, provided it is not after full payment is due.

  Paid in Full (PIF)

  • Add within 1 day of reservation being made, provided it is not within 21 days to departure or within penalty.

  General Policy for Deposit or PIF

  • Plan can be switched during this timeframe. (ex. Full Travel Credit to Cash Back)
  • Payment for Travel Protection must be collected at the time of the addition. No exceptions.

• Policy to Add to Existing Travel Agent Booking

  • Add within 7 days of the deposit, provided it is not after full payment made or due.

NOTE: Contact Center Leaders may make the decision to honor specific outlying cases, where needed. *If a customer had the Enhanced (75% Travel Credit) Plan and a modification is made, the Contact Center is allowed to switch the reservation to the new Enhanced (100% Cash Back) Plan.
